why i made una mano.
hey, i'm pherkan. i'm a product manager and designer working in ai, automations, and banking. i'm also a dad. that second part is why i made una mano.
made for the hand you have free.
one hand should be enough.
when you're feeding a child, one hand is usually busy. the other ends up holding your phone. on a larger iphone, typing with one thumb can feel like a stretch.
apple's keyboard can move to the left or right, but getting there takes a few steps. and when your right hand is free, reaching for the globe key on the far left can be just as awkward.
move the keyboard, not your grip.
una mano puts the keyboard where your thumb already is. choose a side with the position button. with plus, swipe across the keyboard or use motion switch to move it without breaking your flow.
for people who write in more than one language.
i switch languages while replying to messages, and i know plenty of multilingual people do too. with plus, you can keep several typing layouts active and switch between them with an up or down swipe.
una mano is for these little moments. feeding a child. carrying a bag. standing on a train. any time your other hand is full.
